COURSE OVERVIEW

Original digital images require some amount of post-processing to beautify its appearance. This course provides you with the knowhow and techniques essential to good photography. In addition you will also learn to convert your captured clicks into some marvellous photography.

Each session is an eBook comprising textual content supported with beautiful visuals that make it easy to comprehend the subject. The sessions include examples of works of art, tips and tricks to resolve problems, and similar non-destructive editing techniques that will churn out marvellous photographs.

This course is suitable for amateurs and professional photographers who intent to get the most out of their raw captures. This also applies if you are looking at expanding your horizons and rising higher. This course provides an inspiration and a brand new approach of using photography tools that can help you create artsy images using your camera.

Day 1

    Essential terminology in Photography

  • Introduction to Matte Painting
  • Framing and Composition

  • Rule of Third, Camera Angles, Balance, Dominance, traveling elements, leading the eye picture (Dos and Don'ts)
  • What is Post Processing?

  • Using a process to transform photos from what was captured in a camera either to be closer to what our eyes saw, or to alter the image artistically.
  • How to select right photographs?

  • The process inculdes Cataloging, Sorting, Rating, Viewing Images and Checking Sharpness .

Mr. Amit Rane

He is one of the most skilled Wildlife photographers in the DCP family. He has travelled extensively across Indian geography for more than 18 years and has in depth knowledge of difficult terrains spread across the Indian subcontinent. He has brilliant photography skills in all genre of Wildlife photography starting from bird photography to mammals, from landscapes to macro photography, from reptiles to amphibians. He is a trained Herpetologist and loves reptiles. He is a regular travel photographer and writer. He also has a deep interest in product and fashion photography. He has a fantastic teaching acumen. He is a trainer, biodiversity expert, wildlife photography advisor and holds the chair of Director, Outbound Expeditions, Team DCP.
